Julia Sarr-Jamois

Julia Sarr-Jamois. Such a beautiful name for a just as beautiful person. The half Senegalese half  French beauty is the 23 year old fashion editor for Wonderland magazine. Julia started off as the fashion editor for the magazine in 2010, which is quite a young age to take on a position in the fashion industry that requires much commitment. She was well known not only for her high status in Wonderland Magazine but also for her perfect afro and inventive style. Julia didn't just appear in the fashion industry, she started off as a model for Diesel and Fred Perry, she then realised this was not in her interest and decided to go into the styling aspect of fashion. She began interning with i-D magazine soon after she left college. You're now probably thinking, "Why exactly is she the Style Icon of The Week?", and to this I say, her singularity. You can always compare Julia to another being, for example, Solange. When I see Julia I think Solange merely because of their afros, but it's very hard to pin point who Julia's style equal is. She puts a little bit of herself in every outfit she wears, a commonly used Prada blazer will look like Julia's very own creation when worn. I find it very difficult to adore someone in the fashion industry's style, because by the next day you are sure to see a similar outfit placed on a model or on a streetwalker, but this is the least of my worries when Julia is placed in the equation.

Without further a do, my favourite outfits from the one and only, Julia:
