Wild Wonder

It seems as though every time I make a post it starts off with an apology for being so neglectful towards the blog, but this will not be one of those posts. This time we're just going to grab the bull by it's horns! (I think that's how the term goes)

For starters my love, Solange Knowles, recently had an unadorned wedding in an unforgettable fashion (literally); from the guest list to her white jumpsuit, I was smitten. I've never been more happy/jealous over someone else's wedding! Solange being the queen of just about everything juggled planning her wedding as well as the creation of her second collaboration with Puma for another footwear collection entitled "Wild Wonder." 

It was only an amount of time before Solange would grace us with another collection, especially after the major success with Girls of Blaze this past February. 

The newest collection is a take on PUMA's iconic styles, the XT2 and the classic PUMA Suede. With the help of previous designers: Gerlan Marcel, Hisham Bharoocha, and sister duo Darlene and Lizzy Okpo, they pulled off a vibrant collection with an array of natural fabrics, colours, and prints. 

New addition to the Christmas List? I think so.

Girls A Blaze

The awaited Sneaker Collection Lookbook, PUMA X SOLANGE "Girls of Blaze" is finally here, and I can't say I didn't embrace it with open arms. It was just as brilliant as the Creative Director herself, my wife, Solange. With Solange's good friends ( as as well as Nigerian designers), Lizzy and Darlene Okpo behind the wheel, it was bound to be a masterpiece. Just about any colour you can think of is found on the designs of these carefully made sneakers, and I can see all of these sneakers incorporated into Solange's everyday ensembles. That's what I love most about this lookbook, you can find so much of Solange in the collection, it's incredible!

      If it isn't already evident, Toyin and I are hopelessly in love with Solange. It is not just her style that makes her so loveable, but her love towards her fans and just the fact that she is down to earth. If you've ever taken the time to read her tweets you'll find that she is passionate about more than just fashion and music; She's passionate about writing and different cultures around the world as well. Long story short, the much anticipated music video for "Lovers In The Parking Lot" has been released, and so I can do no more but share the video with those of you who have not already seen it.
